how can i find education grants ?

i am 44 yr old single father of one . am returning to college after 23 years and have paid for spring semsester but need money for four more semesters. REALLY dont want to borrow money and would liketo find grants for tuition and books NOT for personal expense [food , rent , utilities ] . have had minimal income previous six years . dont want a free ride , just a little help
