the role of higher education grants?

Since 1990 the role of grants in supporting students through higher education has been eliminated. Why have British governments undertaken these changes/ what has been their impact?how best should i answer that question?need to right a top essay.

1. If you need to "right" a top essay, then already I see a major stumbling block.

2. However, think of the obvious matters – reasons for abolition: various economic ones; impact of abolition: debt, university applications, socio-economic background of students, part-time working etc. Then take a look at the following webpages (but also find some by yourself).
